Thanks for the quick reply! An electrical bypass valve... That's helpful. I haven't brought it to a mechanic yet. Before I do, could you tell me how the defective valve impacted your Renault Scenic?

Certainly! In my case, the defective valve was causing a boost leak, which resulted in all sorts of issues. Because it's an electrical part, it's difficult to diagnose. Given your symptoms, and my past experiences, I highly suggest getting it checked out by a mechanic. It's likely the same issue.

I appreciate the insight! I'll schedule an appointment with my mechanic to inspect the electrical bypass valve. They replaced it, and after paying 250€ all symptoms disappeared. Thank you again for your help!

That sounds very familiar! I had almost the exact same symptoms with my 2018 Renault Scenic. It turned out to be a defective electrical bypass valve. That sounds like what could be going on here. Did your mechanic check the turbo wastegate?
