Ford F Engine Running Rough

Hey, I'm having a frustrating issue with my 2020 Ford F hybrid. It's got about 120k km on it. Lately, the engine's been running really rough, and the check engine light keeps popping on. When I accelerate, it feels like the car is jerking, and I've definitely noticed a drop in engine power. Any ideas? I'm thinking it might be a fuel problem?

I had similar symptoms on my Ford F a while back. It ended up being a faulty fuel injector. The car was jerking, and the throttle response was awful. Have you checked for any specific cylinder misfire codes? That could point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the quick reply! How did you figure out it was the fuel injector? And which cylinder was misfiring for you? I'm trying to avoid a huge bill at the mechanic if I can.

In my case, the check engine light gave me a specific code related to a cylinder misfire, which led the technician to inspect the fuel injectors. After testing, they found one that wasn't spraying correctly. To be honest, fuel injection issues can be tricky to diagnose without the right tools. I would suggest you to visit a trusted workshop.

Okay, thanks a lot for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on - a defective injection valve. The whole repair cost me 515€, but at least it's running smoothly again!
