Ford Figo Coolant Loss
Summary of the thread
The issue with the 2014 Ford Figo involved a low coolant level, indicated by the check engine light. Possible causes for the coolant loss included a leak in the radiator hoses, the water pump, or the radiator itself. The solution was to inspect these areas for leaks, which led to the discovery of a small leak in a hose that was subsequently repaired at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll check those things. Where exactly should I look for a coolant leak? Is it obvious?

The most common spots are around the radiator hoses, the water pump, and the radiator itself. Look for any wet spots or crusty residue. If you're not comfortable diagnosing it yourself, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop.

Thanks. I did take it to a shop. Turns out there was a small leak in a hose and they topped up the radiator fluid. Cost me 52€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Figo. Have you checked the radiator cap and the coolant reservoir for any signs of a coolant leak? Also, do you hear any gurgling sounds that might indicate air pockets in the system?
