Ford Flex Fault Memory Lock Active

My 2016 Ford Flex, gasoline engine, is showing a fault memory lock active. The only symptom is 'Error stored in the error memory'. Diagnostics point to undervoltage. Any ideas?

Huh, that's odd. I had something similar with my old Opel Corsa. The ECU was throwing codes because the battery was on its way out. Have you checked your battery's voltage?

Voltage seems okay, but I'll double-check. Was the Opel's error message also related to undervoltage or a locked memory?

The error was different, but the root cause was low voltage. The computer systems in these cars are super sensitive. If you've already checked the usual suspects (battery, alternator), then it might be worth taking it to a workshop for proper diagnostics. They can check the ECU itself.

Thanks, I appreciate the input. It turned out to be exactly that - a glitch caused by a voltage drop. Cost me 240€ to clear the fault and check the system.
