Yeah, I tried wiggling the wires a bit, but no luck so far. When you had the issue with your Astra, was it a pain to diagnose the faulty connection or did you just get it fixed at a shop? What was the resolution?

Honestly, after messing with it for an afternoon and getting nowhere, I took it to a shop. Turned out to be a corroded connector deep inside the wiring harness. Since you've already tried the basic checks, I'd recommend getting it professionally diagnosed before you start tearing things apart. Could save you a lot of time and frustration.

Thanks for the advice! I was hoping to avoid a trip to the shop, but you're probably right. I'll schedule an appointment and let them sort it out. The estimated cost for repair including parts is around 95€. Hopefully, it will fix the issue.

Sounds familiar! I had a similar headache with my old Opel Astra a few years back. Same symptoms – error message, flickering light, the whole shebang. Did you try wiggling the wires connected to the signal lamp assembly? Sometimes that can temporarily fix it, or at least point to a loose connection.
