Intake manifold? I was focusing on the boost sensor itself and its connections. Where exactly should I be looking on the manifold? And what am I looking for specifically?

Yeah, sorry, I should have been clearer. The boost sensor is usually somewhere around the intake manifold. Check all the hoses connected to it and the manifold itself for cracks or if they're loose. If the sensor's cable or plug looks damaged that is most likely your problem and needs fixing. If it isn't the sensor itself, get it checked at the workshop, it is most likely the turbo.

Thanks for the insight. Turns out it was the boost pressure sensor cable. Replaced it for 95€ and it runs fine now.

Sounds rough. I had similar symptoms in my old 2012 Opel Astra, though no whistling, just hissing. Check engine light, jerking, and power loss, all pointing towards boost issues. Have you inspected the intake manifold area for any obvious cracks or loose hoses?
