Fortuner Fuel Pressure Sensor Issue

Experiencing issues with my 2009 Toyota Fortuner, diesel engine. Check engine light is on and off, rough engine running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration. It has 94130 km on the clock. Diagnostics suggest a defective fuel pressure sensor, maybe a cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this before?

I had similar symptoms with my Fortuner. Check engine light, rough idle... It was a pain. I didn't check the cable, but I would check the fuel pump too!

Thanks. Could you give me more detail about what you experienced? Was the fuel pressure sensor bad, or was it something else in the fuel delivery system?

I didn't diagnose it myself. I took it straight to the workshop. They said it was a faulty sensor. Best to get it checked by a professional.

The problem was the fuel pressure sensor. Replaced it, and the symptoms are gone. Cost about 95€.
