Freed hybrid fuel rail pressure sensor issue

My 2021 Honda Freed hybrid is acting up! Check engine light's on, it stalls at idle sometimes, and power feels way down. Mileage is at 117044 km. I suspect it's the fuel rail pressure sensor. Anyone else seen this?

Summary of the thread

A 2021 Honda Freed hybrid exhibited issues such as the check engine light turning on, stalling at idle, and reduced power. The suspected cause was a faulty fuel rail pressure sensor. Confirmation from another owner with similar experiences suggested that the sensor was indeed the problem. Replacing the defective sensor resolved the issues, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Sounds familiar! I had something similar happen on my Freed. Fuel injection acting up, right? Did you check the sensor signal? That's where my issue was.

Yeah, the sensor signal is faulty. So, was it definitely the rail pressure sensor on yours too? What did you end up doing about it?

Yep, rail pressure sensor was the culprit. It's responsible for monitoring the fuel pressure in the fuel rail. Given your symptoms and the sensor signal fault, I'd say it's almost certainly the same issue. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks! Dropped it off at the shop, and you were spot on. Rail pressure sensor was defective, new one cost 240€. Runs like a charm now. Appreciate the help!
