Hi, I have a 2014 Fiat Freemont with a diesel engine and I'm experiencing a problem with the seat heater. It's barely getting warm, and the car's error memory shows a fault. My mileage is at 31568 km. From what I've read, it might be a defective seat heating mat. Has anyone else had this issue?

I had a similar problem with my Freemont. Check the connections under the seat, but it's probably the heating mat. They're known to fail.

Yep, barely any heat. I took mine to a workshop. Replacing the mat yourself is a pain. It’s embedded in the seat.

Okay, thanks for confirming. I figured it was probably best left to the pros. I'll book it in. They quoted me around 390€ for the repair, so at least I know what to expect.
