Freestyle Turn Signal Error

Hi, I've got a 2005 Ford Freestyle with a gasoline engine that's throwing a weird turn signal error. The error memory has stored a fault, and I'm getting an error message on the speedometer along with the lighting fault itself. Suspect it's a cable or plug issue. Anyone seen this before?

Hey, I've got a Ford Freestyle too! I had a similar issue with my turn signals a while back. Was it intermittent at first? Did it seem to happen more when it was wet outside?

Interesting. Yeah, it does seem worse when it's damp. What exactly was the problem with yours? Any idea what it cost to fix?

Okay, sounds very familiar. For me, it was definitely a dodgy connection somewhere in the wiring harness. Honestly, I wouldn't try messing with it yourself unless you're really confident with electrics. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly enough.
