Thanks for the tip. By connector plugs, do you mean the ones directly at the sensors in the bumper? And no, the vehicle hasn't been involved in any collisions or repairs recently.

Yes, I mean the connectors right at the sensors. It's like a chain, if one link is bad, the whole chain fails. Given that it's not collision-related, it’s likely a faulty connection or a sensor failure. At this point, it might be worth taking it to a workshop for a diagnostic check.

Appreciate the insight. I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on – a corroded connector on one of the sensors was the culprit. 95€ later, and the parking aid is working again.

I had a similar issue with my parking sensors a while back on my Nissan Frontier. Check the connector plugs on the ultrasonic sensors themselves; they are exposed to the elements. Water ingress can cause corrosion and throw off the whole system. Has the vehicle been in a collision repair recently?
