Frontier smartphone connection issue

My 2003 Nissan Frontier with a diesel engine is acting up. The system is restricting function. I can't connect my smartphone, and there's an error stored in the memory. Anyone else seen this?

Sounds familiar. I've got a Frontier too, though can't remember the year. Had a similar problem with my phone not connecting. Have you tried unpairing and re-pairing the phone? Could be just a glitch.

Yeah, tried the unpairing/re-pairing thing a few times. Still no luck. Any other ideas before I start chasing electrical faults?

Ah, bugger. If the unpairing didn't work, mine ended up needing a reset at the workshop. Cost about 45€. Might be worth checking with a pro to avoid chasing ghosts.
