Fuga Lighting Issue

The diagnostics weren't specific about the circuit, no. The symptoms are 'Fault in the lighting'. You mentioned a loose connection... Any specific areas I should be checking around the light switch itself?

Given that the error message is fairly generic ('Fault in the lighting'), and you've already considered a defective cable or plug connection, you're on the right track. The connector directly behind the light switch is a prime suspect. Carefully inspect it for any signs of corrosion, loose pins, or damage to the wiring harness. However, without more in-depth diagnostic information, I would suggest visiting a workshop.

Thanks a lot for your detailed input. I'll check the connector, but I'll probably take it to the workshop as well. The Repair bill came to 95€.

That sounds frustrating! I once wrestled with a similar gremlin on my 2016 BMW 328i. Intermittent electrical issues are the worst. Did the diagnostics specifically mention which circuit or light is affected? Also, have you noticed if this happens more often under certain conditions, like after driving through rain or on bumpy roads? This could help pinpoint whether it's a loose connection or a more deeply rooted problem with the Body Control Module (BCM).
