Fusion Camshaft Sensor Issue

I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Fusion! The engine misfired, the check engine light was on, and it was stalling constantly. Have you tried testing the crankshaft sensor as well? It could be related, and might give you a clearer picture before you start replacing parts. What codes are you getting from the check engine light?

Thanks for the quick reply! I haven't tested the crankshaft sensor yet, I'll add that to my list. I pulled a P0340 which points to the camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction. P0340 sounds exactly like what I had. I did some sensor testing myself, but honestly, it was a bit beyond my capabilities without the right equipment.
