Fusion transmission issues

Good analogy! I'll check for overheating. Where exactly should I be looking for the cable or plug connection? Is it something I can easily spot, or do I need to take half the engine apart? I'm not super mechanically inclined, but I can usually handle the basics.

Okay, no worries. The cable and plug connection for the radiator and oil cooler should be relatively accessible, usually near the radiator itself or along the hoses leading to the transmission. Look for any obvious signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections. However, given the symptoms and the error code, it might be worth having a workshop take a quick look. It could save you a lot of time and potential headaches.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I checked the connections as best as I could, but honestly, I wasn't 100% sure what I was looking at. So, I took it to a shop, and you were spot on – it was a defective cable connection! They fixed it for 95€, and now it's running perfectly again. I really appreciate your help!

That sounds strange. A defective radiator oil pressure could definitely cause some weird issues. It's all connected, kinda like how your computer's CPU cooler failing can make your whole system crash, right? Is the car overheating at all? Have you checked the cable or plug connection to the radiator and oil cooler? A loose or damaged connection could be the culprit.
