G6 Ignition Error

I'm getting a 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' error on my 2013 Ford G6 with a gasoline engine, and it won't start. The error memory says it's likely a cable or plug issue. Anyone seen this before?

I had something similar happen in my Ford G6. The car wouldn't start and the error codes were all over the place. Did you check the wiring harness near the battery terminal? It's a common spot for corrosion and breaks that can cause a circuit break.

Could you be more specific about the location of the wiring harness you're talking about? A more precise description would help.

Sure. It was the main harness that connects to the positive battery terminal. In my case, the insulation had cracked and the wire itself was corroded pretty badly. If you're seeing the same symptoms, it's worth having a workshop take a look. They can properly diagnose the circuit and replace the faulty section.

Thanks for the clarification. I checked the wiring harness as you suggested. A technician confirmed a defective cable connection. Repair and component replacement cost 95€. Thanks again for the help.
