Galaxy auxiliary heater issue

I am experiencing issues with the auxiliary heater on my 2021 Ford Galaxy Hybrid. The parking heater cannot be activated, and an error is stored in the error memory. I suspect a defective glow plug, but would like to have some additional opinions.

That's a common issue, I've seen it before. Does your climate control seem to be acting up at all, or is it just the parking heater that's affected? Maybe the temperature sensor is giving you trouble?

The climate control seems to be working fine, at least I haven't noticed anything unusual. Could a faulty temperature sensor only affect the parking heater function?

It's possible, but less likely if the climate control is behaving normally. Given the error code and the parking heater issue, a defective glow plug is quite plausible. I'd still recommend taking it to a workshop to get a proper diagnosis.

Thank you for the feedback. I took it to the workshop, and you were right – it was indeed a defective glow plug. The repair cost me 440€.
