Galaxy Fuel Filter Heater Error

I gave them a quick look, but didn't pull everything apart to check for corrosion properly. Where did you find the dodgy connection on yours? Was it obviously corroded, or did you need to probe to find it?

I'm no expert. I fiddled a bit, wiggled wires, and it seemed better, but the problem returned. I took it to a workshop. They sorted it quickly. If you're not confident, that might be best. They can properly diagnose it.

Thanks! You were right, I took it to the workshop, and they found a corroded connector on the fuel filter heater cable. They cleaned it, replaced a short cable section, and now it's running great. Cost 95€, but worth it!

I had a similar problem with my Galaxy: reduced engine power and awful fuel consumption. Have you checked all the connections around the fuel filter? Could be a loose wire or a corroded connector. It's a pain, but worth checking before replacing parts.
