Interesting. My rearview camera seems fine, but I'll double-check it. Do you remember which proximity sensors were the culprit? Or if the issue was rather in the control module?

I didn't get to pinpoint the exact cause, tbh. After fiddling around for a bit, I gave up and took it to a trusted mechanic. I just remember them mentioning something about a faulty connection and some corrosion. It's probably best to get a professional diagnosis rather than chasing ghosts in the machine, especially with all the interconnected systems these cars have. I'd suggest going to the workshop.

Thanks for the insight! I appreciate you sharing your experience. Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – turned out to be a corroded connector on one of the rear sensors. 95€ later, all working again.

Hey, I had something similar with my Galaxy. Symptoms were the same – parking sensors dead, error code popping up. Did you check the rearview camera? Mine was showing a distorted image before the whole system went tango uniform. Could be related to the control module or even just one of the proximity sensors causing the whole system to freak out.
