Galloper transport mode electrical malfunctions
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Hyundai Galloper is experiencing electrical malfunctions and displays a 'transport mode' message on the dashboard, with the navigation system not functioning. The issue is likely related to a factory setting intended to protect the battery during shipping, rather than an immobilizer problem. The suggested solution is to have a workshop use diagnostic tools to disable the 'transport mode,' which resolved the issue without any cost.

Yeah, the engine starts fine. Runs normally, but the electrical issues and the 'transport mode' message are still there. What exactly did they do to your Volvo to fix it?

In my case, the dealer used their diagnostic tool to disable the 'transport mode' setting. It's designed to protect the battery during shipping, apparently. Since your engine starts, it's likely not an immobilizer issue. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop; they'll probably need to access the car's configuration software.

Thanks for the help! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. They hooked it up to their computer and disabled transport mode. All sorted now, and it didn't cost me anything!

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo XC60 after delivery. It turned out to be some factory setting that needed a reset. Does the engine even start?
