Genesis Fog Sensor Error

Anyone seen this? My 2016 Hyundai Genesis with a gasoline engine is throwing a fog sensor error. AC won't kick on, spray nozzles are frozen when it's cold, and the mirror heating is dead. Diagnostics point to a defective cable or plug. Getting quoted 95€ for repair.

Summary of the thread

A 2016 Hyundai Genesis is experiencing a fog sensor error, leading to issues with the AC, frozen spray nozzles, and non-functional mirror heating. Diagnostics suggest a defective cable or plug as the cause. A professional check is recommended, as similar cases have been resolved by addressing faulty connections.

I had something similar with my Genesis. Is the dashboard warning light on? Could also be a humidity sensor issue affecting all those systems. Have you tried checking the sensor calibration?

Dashboard warning is indeed on. How was yours exactly? Did you fix it yourself or have to take it in?

Symptoms were identical. Mirror heating and AC were the first things I noticed. I'd suggest getting it checked professionally. Turned out to be a faulty connection, like yours. A proper diagnostic tool helped pinpoint the problem.

Thanks. Taking it to the workshop. Seems like the best option.
