Summary of the thread
A 2008 Hyundai Getz owner experienced a central locking failure, suspecting a defective door contact signal. Thank you for your swift response. Could you elaborate a little more on exactly where this defective cable or plug connection was located?

Unfortunately, I can't give you precise details. I remember that the workshop told me it was a cable or a plug connection of the component that was defective, but I don't know exactly which one. It might be best to have it checked out by a professional.

Thank you for the advice. I took your advice and brought the car to my trusted workshop. It turned out to be a faulty cable connection, just as you suspected. The repair cost me 95€, but at least everything is working again!

I also own a Getz. I recall encountering a similar problem. In my case, the issue was related to a defective cable or plug connection within the door. It's worth investigating if you haven't already.
