Getz Cruise Control Malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2006 Hyundai Getz is experiencing a cruise control malfunction, with the speedometer showing an error and an error code stored. The issue may be caused by a faulty actuator, which controls the throttle based on cruise control settings. It was suggested to check the actuator's cable or plug connection, and the problem was resolved by repairing a defective plug connection at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick response. Could you explain how to check the actuator? I'm not very familiar with it.

The actuator usually has a cable or plug connection. Sounds like that might be defective, which is plausible given the symptoms. You could try to check it yourself, but honestly, for something like that, going to a workshop might be your best bet.

Understood. I appreciate the advice. I'll book an appointment with a local workshop. It turned out to be a defective plug connection on the actuator, and the repair cost 95€. Thanks again for your help!

Cruise control problems can be tricky. Has the actuator been checked? That's what physically controls the throttle based on the cruise control settings. A faulty one might cause those symptoms.
