Thank you for your response. Indeed, the battery appears to be heavily discharged. Could this alone cause the window heating to fail entirely?

Yep, definitely. In my case, the heating coil refused to work. A defective battery is a prime suspect. Better get it checked at a workshop.

I appreciate the advice. I took it to the workshop and, as suspected, a defective battery was the root cause. Repair including parts was 290€ Thank you!

Hey, I had something similar with my Getz. Have you checked the battery? A weak battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins.
