Gienia Active Hood Fault and Airbag Light
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda Gienia owner is experiencing an "Active hood fault" message and an airbag light on the dashboard. The issue appears to be related to the spring actuators being triggered. A similar case was resolved by replacing the acceleration sensor, which was identified as the cause of the problem. The owner plans to visit a workshop to address the issue.

Randomly, I think. Where is the acceleration sensor located? And how can I check this? What was the repair cost for you?

I didn't check myself. I brought it to a workshop, they told me it was the acceleration sensor. They replaced it, and the error was gone. Cost me around 315€.

Thanks for the info! I'll take it to a shop then. Sounds like the same issue. Will post how it goes.

I had a similar issue on my Gienia. Same warning lights and error codes. Does it happen randomly, or only after a bump? It could be the acceleration sensor.
