The battery sensor, huh? I hadn't considered that. Where exactly is that located, and is it something I can check myself, or am I better off taking it to a mechanic?

Yeah, on mine, the battery sensor was faulty. Honestly, it's a bit tricky to get to without the right tools. I ended up taking it to a workshop. They confirmed it was the sensor, replaced it, and everything's been smooth sailing since then. Probably best to let the pros handle it.

Thanks a bunch for the advice! I'll book it in with a mechanic to get the battery sensor checked out. Really appreciate the help! Just got the car back from the mechanic. Turns out it was the battery sensor, just like you said! Cost me 315€ to get it sorted, but at least it's running perfectly again. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms with my Gienia a while back. Weak starts, flickering lights… it was a nightmare. Did you check the battery sensor? That was the culprit for me.
