Good shout on the fuse, hadn't thought of that Whereabouts is it usually located And did you end up fixing your Volvo yourself, or did you take it to a shop

Fuse location should be in your owner's manual, usually under the hood or sometimes near the steering wheel I ended up taking my Volvo to a workshop Electrical gremlins aren't really my thing Better safe than sorry, especially when it affects visibility For 95€ it is probably better if you let a professional deal with it They will find the issue quickly If it is the cable, it is an easy fix

Thanks, appreciate the advice I checked the fuses, all good So, I'll book it in for a checkup Turns out the cable to the windshield heater was indeed defective, just like the error code suggested New cable fitted, total cost 95€ Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction

I had a similar issue with my old Volvo, although it wasn't the windshield heater specifically More like the entire washer motor packed it in during some proper winter driving Frozen nozzles were the first sign Could be the same thing, but hard to say Did you check the fuse for the washer system That's the easiest thing to rule out before you go digging around for broken wires
