GLA hybrid check engine light and rough running

My 2023 GLA hybrid is throwing a check engine light and has rough running with about 244081 km on it I'm also noticing stalling at idle and some jerking when accelerating I suspect it might be a fuel pressure sensor issue I checked the wiring and plug and they seem okay visually but could be the culprit Has anyone else run into this

Summary of the thread

A 2023 GLA hybrid was experiencing a check engine light, rough running, stalling at idle, and jerking during acceleration. The initial suspicion was a faulty fuel pressure sensor, despite the wiring and plug appearing visually intact. After checking the fuel pump relay, fuse, and fuel filter, the issue persisted. A diagnostic assessment at a workshop confirmed the fuel pressure sensor was defective, and replacing it resolved the problem, restoring smooth engine operation.

I understand your concern regarding the symptoms you are experiencing with your Mercedes-Benz GLA hybrid I own a similar model Mercedes-Benz GLA and a few years ago I encountered a comparable issue The check engine light illuminated accompanied by erratic engine behavior Have you inspected the fuel pump relay and fuse It's a straightforward check that could potentially identify a simple problem within the fuel delivery system Also is the fuel filter relatively new or could it be restricting fuel flow to the fuel injector

Fuel pump relay and fuse are good and the fuel filter was changed recently Any chance yours was actually the fuel pressure sensor even with good wiring

Given that you have already verified the fuel pump relay fuse and fuel filter and considering the persistent symptoms it is plausible that the fuel pressure sensor is indeed defective despite the wiring appearing intact I recommend a diagnostic assessment at an authorized Mercedes-Benz workshop to confirm the fault and prevent potential damage to the fuel system

Took it to the workshop and you were right Turns out it was the fuel pressure sensor after all Cable or plug connection was defective as predicted Replaced it and the check engine light is off and the engine runs smoothly again Cost me 95€ Thanks for the advice
