GLA Hybrid Keyless Entry Problem

My 2020 Mercedes GLA hybrid keyless entry has stopped working The doors wont open with the handle sensor anymore I scanned the error memory and its showing a fault related to the door handle electronics I suspect a cable or plug connection is defective according to what Ive read Has anyone experienced something similar Trying to figure out if its something I can tackle myself before Im forced to swallow a huge repair bill for a simple electric door or door actuator issue The error stored in the memory points towards a wiring fault Any pointers

Had a similar sensor issue on my old Volvo V60 Keyless go stopped working same symptoms A broken wire in the door harness was the culprit

Interesting Was it difficult to diagnose the wiring fault Did you have to remove the entire door panel

Yeah door panel had to come off Wasnt too hard just fiddly The break was inside the rubber boot between the door and the body Honestly unless youre comfortable with wiring Id just take it to a workshop It cost me 95€ in the end and saved me a whole load of hassle

Thanks for the advice I appreciate the info I took it to my usual mechanic and you were spot on Wiring fault in the door harness they repaired the plug connection cost me exactly 95€ Keyless entry is back up and running
