GLA Radar Sensor Malfunction Adaptive Cruise Useless

My 2021 Mercedes GLA diesel is throwing a radar sensor error. The speedometer displays a constant error message, and the diagnostic tool confirms an error stored in the memory. Consequently, several safety systems, including adaptive cruise control, are non-functional, and the warning light is illuminated. I suspect a dirty sensor is the culprit. Has anyone encountered similar issues?

Radar sensor issues are common. I had a similar electronic issue with my GLA and adaptive cruise was also affected. I'm not sure if it's the same, but what's the exact error code?

The error code is consistent with a sensor malfunction. Did you resolve your issue by simply cleaning the sensor, or was radar calibration involved?

I didn't try cleaning it myself. I went straight to the workshop. They said it could also impact other safety systems so I didn't want to risk it.

Understood. I appreciate the input. I inspected the sensor, cleaned it thoroughly, and the error vanished. Cost me 45€ for the cleaner. Safety systems restored.
