GLA Restraint System Failure Indicator Illuminated

My 2023 Mercedes GLA with the diesel engine is showing an airbag warning lamp. The restraint system malfunction indicator is active. Odometer reads 296268 km. I've scanned the system and it points to a likely cable or plug connection fault somewhere in the airbag system. I'm thinking perhaps a crash sensor. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had something similar happen in my GLA. Airbag light came on and stayed on. It was super annoying. Did they check for any airbag recalls? That's the first thing I'd do.

Recall status is clean. What was your issue specifically? Was it also a cable problem or something else?

I can't recall the specifics but it ended up being some faulty connection. Since it's vehicle safety related, I just took it to the workshop. Best not to mess with that stuff yourself. Too important.
