GLC Weak Battery and Flickering Lights

My 2019 Mercedes GLC with a gasoline engine is having issues. It has 182625 km. The battery seems weak when starting, and the lights are weak or flickering. I think it might be a bad battery sensor. Any ideas?

That's interesting. I had similar issues on my old Subaru Outback. It turned out to be a faulty battery sensor causing low voltage. Have you checked the battery charge recently? Maybe try a different car battery to see if that fixes it?

Thanks for the reply. How did you confirm the battery sensor was the problem? Did you do any specific tests, or just rely on the symptoms?

I couldn't really test the sensor itself. The lights and weak starts were very noticeable. I replaced the car battery first, but the problems continued. So I took it to a workshop, and they figured it out quickly. I suggest you do the same if the problem remains.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll schedule a visit to a reliable workshop for a diagnosis. The repair should be around 315€ if it's the battery sensor. Thanks for the help.
