GLE Hybrid Radiator Issue

Overheating I'm not sure, I'd have to double check. Where exactly was the faulty connection? I'm not super car savvy but maybe I could take a peek myself before bringing it in. And the pressure gauge seems normal to me, but where do I check to see if there is a leak? How did you even know the connection was the problem?

Okay, so overheating isn't the main issue, that's good info. About the connection point, honestly I'm not 100 percent sure where it was. My car also went into emergency mode but my mechanic investigated it. He did say something about a corroded plug and moisture affecting the signal. I'm not a mechanic, so I wouldn't want to steer you wrong. It might be better to just bring it to a trusted workshop instead of poking around yourself. Safety first. It's just that you wrote that the cable and plug connection might be defective, and it reminded me of when I had the issue.

Thanks a lot for the input, I appreciate it. I took it to the shop and you were spot on! It was indeed a defective cable connection to the radiator causing all the transmission problems. They charged me 95€ for the radiator repair so I'm happy it wasn't worse.

Whoa that sounds familiar. I have a GLE, not sure the year matters much but I ran into something similar last year. Is your car overheating at all, even slightly? Check your pressure gauge too, is it acting weird? My issue turned out to be a faulty connection to the radiator. The whole automatic transmission went haywire! The good news is, it wasn't a huge deal to fix after troubleshooting the issue.
