Thanks for the input. Which fuse was it specifically on your Volvo, and where was it located? I'm also curious if your Volvo threw an error code like my GLE did, or was it just a dead mirror? Any further details you can recall?

Regrettably, I am unable to recall the precise fuse number or its exact location on my Volvo. My apologies! What I do remember is that, similarly to your situation, an error code was indeed present. Given that your Mercedes is still relatively new, perhaps it would be prudent to consult with a qualified technician. Replacing components could be expensive, and I am not sure if it is the correct solution.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to the shop. Turns out, it was indeed a faulty connector as suspected. They re-pinned it, cleared the code, and all good now. Cost me 95€. Glad I didn't jump to mirror replacement!

I encountered a somewhat comparable problem on my old Volvo. The rearview mirror heating was completely non-functional! I'd advise checking the fuses first, though I am uncertain if this will resolve your issue. It appears from your description that you have already investigated the issue thoroughly. I'm not sure, but perhaps the mirror replacement could be a solution.
