GLK Brake Light Error Memory Full
Summary of the thread
A 2012 GLK Diesel displayed a brake light error with a full error memory. The issue was resolved by identifying that a bunched-up floor mat was obstructing the brake pedal. Once the mat was repositioned, the error cleared, and the brake system functioned correctly.

Interesting. What do you mean by something interfering? Is something physically blocking the brake pedal?

Yes, that's what I meant. For me, the floor mat was bunching up a little. It wasn't obvious at first. If the pedal is clear, it could be the brake switch itself. A workshop visit might be a good idea.

Thanks for the tip! You were right. The floor mat was the problem. I moved it, and the error is gone. The error memory had a lot of brake switch errors, but it's clear now. The brake system is working properly again. I appreciate the help!

I had something similar in my GLK. A tail light malfunction warning kept appearing. Have you checked the brake pedal itself? Something might be stopping it from moving fully.
