GLK climate control malfunction

My 2012 Mercedes GLK with a gasoline engine has an automatic temperature control malfunction and the AC won't engage. Diagnostics revealed a stored error and I suspect a cable or plug connection issue. Could this be accurate and what are the sensor possibilities I'm estimating a 95€ repair cost. Has anyone else experienced this climate regulation problem

I had a similar issue with my GLK. The climate control was acting up, and the AC wouldn't turn on sometimes. I recall reading about issues with the HVAC sensor. Have you checked all the connections to the sensor

Thanks for the info. Could you provide more details regarding the specific location of the HVAC sensor and the connections you inspected I want to examine the wiring.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you exactly where it is. I just remember the symptoms being similar. In the end, I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty sensor and replaced it.

Thanks for sharing. I consulted a technician who confirmed the issue. The cable and plug connection of the interior temperature sensor were defective. It was repaired for the expected 95€ and the climate control is now working.
