GLS Hybrid Temperature Sensor Fault

By sensor diagnostics, I mean checking the sensor's output with a multimeter or diagnostic tool to see if it's sending the correct signal. Sensor calibration is about making sure the sensor is reading accurately after you replace it, sometimes you need to use special software to tell the car the new sensor is working correctly. Was your 'similar issue' exactly the same, with all those symptoms, or just the AC?

Okay, I understand a bit better now. To be honest, I didn't check all of those things you mentioned. My AC just wasn't working. I took it to the workshop, and they told me it was the temperature sensor and they replaced the vehicle temperature sensor. That fixed the AC issue. Maybe you should just take it to a workshop and have them check it out.

Thanks. Knowing someone else had a similar problem helps. I'll probably bite the bullet and take it in. The potential cause seems to be a defective cable or plug connection to the sensor. Estimate I got was around 95€ for the temperature sensor replacement. Appreciate the help!

Hmm, that's strange. I have a GLS too, but not the hybrid. I had a similar issue with my air conditioning not working, but I never really thought about the other things you mentioned. What do you mean by 'sensor diagnostics' and 'sensor calibration'? I'm not very technical.
