Grace hybrid transmission issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda Grace hybrid is experiencing starting issues, a check engine light, and a slipping gearbox, with error codes indicating a potential problem with the transmission's parking position. The symptoms suggest a faulty transmission control unit, which may require replacement. A diagnostic check at a workshop confirmed the control unit as the issue, leading to its replacement and resolving the problem.

Yeah, shifting to neutral feels off, almost like it's not fully engaging sometimes. Nothing obvious happened right before the issues started, just one day it wouldn't start. Anything specific I should be looking for?

Sounds like the same control unit problem I experienced. If the error codes point to a faulty transmission control unit, you're probably looking at a replacement. I'd strongly suggest taking it to a trusted workshop for a diagnostic check, as it definitely seems like a defective part that needs fixing ASAP.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate it. Took it to a shop, and you were right, the control unit was the culprit. Cost me about 1000€ to get it sorted, but at least it's running again.

I had a similar issue with my Grace. The symptoms sound very familiar. Does it struggle to shift into neutral sometimes, or feel like it's stuck in gear? Was there any event preceding the error?
