Thanks for your insights. I haven't noticed significant changes in performance or fuel economy, but I will double-check the vacuum hoses more carefully. Any specific areas prone to leaks on this model?

While not definitive without a proper diagnosis, the hose connection from the pump to the air valve is a known weak spot. Given the mileage (147572 km), rubber components degrade. Honestly, with a hybrid system, it's best to get it properly diagnosed. A faulty throttle body could also trigger similar symptoms. Best head to the workshop before this affects other components.

Appreciate the advice. It seems you were right about the hose connection. The workshop confirmed a defective hose from the pump to the valve. Repair cost me 175€. Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

A check engine light could indicate various issues. Since it's a hybrid, the system is complex. Have you noticed any changes in engine performance or fuel economy? Have you inspected the vacuum hoses for any visible cracks or disconnections? The Grandland X can be sensitive to manifold pressure fluctuations.
