Grandland X power window failure

Yeah, I tried the holding-the-switch trick - didn't work unfortunately. Fuses are all good too. When you say 'similar', do you mean the windows stopped working completely after a battery change, and the holding trick didn't work for you either? I'm pulling my hair out here!

Yep, exactly the same issue. Holding the switch did nothing. In the end, I had to bite the bullet and take it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly - something about needing to be properly re-initialised with their diagnostics tools, so might be worth considering if you're still stuck.

Thanks for the advice. Sounds like I'm fighting a losing battle on my own! I'll book it in at a local garage. They sorted the re-initialisation, and the power windows are working again. Cost me 290€, which is annoying, but at least it's fixed.

I had something similar happen on my Grandland X. Did you try holding the window switch up for a few seconds after the window is fully closed? Apparently, that sometimes resets the system. Otherwise, could be a dodgy window switch or even the window motor itself. Have you checked the fuses?
