Grandland X Transport Mode

The infotainment system does not explicitly state 'Transport Mode Active,' but the electrical issues and defunct navigation suggest that possibility. I'm unable to access any vehicle settings through the menu. Is it possible some setting got messed up during production and is now affecting the immobilizer or engine start sequence?

That mirrors my experience! In my case, it was a faulty configuration from the factory. It sounds like your car needs its software configured by a Vauxhall technician. I recommend contacting a trusted mechanic. They should be able to reset the ECU and ensure all systems are correctly initialized. It's not something you can fix yourself.

I appreciate your assistance! It seems my suspicions regarding a configuration issue were correct. I will contact my local Vauxhall service center and schedule an appointment to have the ECU reset and the software configured. It is comforting to know that the repair ended up being performed at no cost. Thank you again for your help and guidance. I feel much better informed and prepared to address this issue with the service team.

I had a similar problem with my Grandland X. Does the infotainment system display 'Transport Mode Active' at any point, or is it just the symptoms that lead you to that conclusion? Have you tried checking the vehicle settings through the main menu, assuming you can access it at all? It could be a configuration issue that's locking everything down. Like a computer that hasn't finished its initial setup; some features will be unavailable.
