GrandlandX engine stalling

Help! My 2023 Vauxhall GrandlandX hybrid is acting up. The check engine light keeps popping on, and the engine sometimes stalls when I'm idling. I've got about 121414 km on the clock. Could this be related to the fuel tank ventilation? Maybe a defective charcoal filter?

I had a similar issue with my GrandlandX. Is it throwing any codes related to emission control or air flow? It could be the purge valve. I would also check the fuel tank for any hissing sounds, or any strong fuel smells, which could indicate a leak.

Good call! I'll check for those smells and sounds. When your GrandlandX had this, was it definitely the ventilation system causing the stalling? Any idea how serious it is?

Yep, pretty sure it was the fuel tank ventilation causing the stalling. Turned out to be a defective activated charcoal filter. Honestly, if it's that, it's not drive-it-till-it-dies serious, but you'll keep getting the engine light and the stalling will get annoying. Get it checked soon!
