GrandlandX Turn Signal Fault

I've got a 2021 Vauxhall GrandlandX with a gasoline engine. I'm having trouble with the turn signal lamp. There's an error stored and I'm getting an error message on the speedometer. The bulb looks fine, so I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Skoda Octavia not long ago. Have you inspected the flasher relay? Sometimes a faulty relay can cause intermittent issues, even if the bulbs appear functional.

I haven't checked the flasher relay yet. Where would I typically find that in a GrandlandX, and is there an easy way to test if it's working correctly?

On my Octavia, it was located in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Given your vehicle is relatively new and considering the error messages, the issue is likely more complex than a simple relay. If the error is stored in the ECU, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop for a proper diagnostic to avoid further complications.

I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a workshop and have them run a diagnostic check. You were right about the complex issue! The workshop confirmed it was a defective cable and plug connection, and the repair cost me 95€.
