GS passenger seat malfunction

I've got a 2016 Lexus GS hybrid with 153k km. The passenger electric seat is playing up. I'm getting an error stored, and the seat won't adjust. I'm guessing it could be a seat switch, power seats, passenger seat, seat motor, or seat wiring issue, but could it also be related to the hybrid battery? I've heard heavily discharged or defective batteries can cause weird electrical gremlins. Anyone else experienced this?

A 2016 Lexus GS hybrid owner experienced an issue with the passenger electric seat not adjusting and an error being stored. The problem was suspected to be related to the seat switch, motor, wiring, or possibly the hybrid battery. After checking the fuses and finding no clicking sounds from the motor, the issue was diagnosed as a faulty wiring harness connection under the seat, likely due to physical interference, and was resolved at a cost of 290€.

I had something similar with my GS, though mine isn't a hybrid. My passenger seat just stopped moving. I checked the fuses, but they were all fine. Did you check yours? Any clicking sounds coming from the seat motor when you try to adjust it?

Cheers for the reply. I did check the fuses, and they seemed okay. No clicking from the motor, just silence. Was your error also stored in the error memory?

Yeah, the workshop said something about an error code. Honestly, I'm not that technical. In the end, I just took it to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly. Might be worth getting it checked.
