GT86 Battery Sensor Issue

Battery's about two years old. No aftermarket electronics. You mentioned a similar issue with your Astra. Was it the battery sensor in the end?

Yep, after ages, it was the battery sensor. Given your symptoms and the battery age, it could be the problem. Got the tools to check it yourself? If not, maybe a workshop visit? Electrical issues can be a pain to trace without the right gear.

Thanks, I'll get the battery and sensor checked professionally based on that. Will post the result. Diagnostic showed a faulty battery sensor, replacement cost 315€.

Sounds frustrating. Is the battery newish, or could it be getting old? I had similar issues with my 2016 Astra – weak starts, dashboard lights going nuts. Have you tested the battery to see if it's holding a charge? Any aftermarket stuff that might be draining power?
