GT86 smartphone connection issue

It's completely dead; the device is not recognised at all. I have checked the pairing settings multiple times, and attempted re-pairing, without success. Could the issue be related to a faulty head unit?

That sounds exactly like what happened to mine! Though checking the pairing settings is essential, in my experience, yes the unit might be faulty. You should probably visit a workshop, there might be problems with steering or transmission.

Understood, I appreciate your help! I followed your advice and took it to a local garage. It turned out that the smartphone pairing was incorrect and cost 45€ to fix. Thanks again!

Hey! I have a GT86 as well. I had something similar happen with my phone connection. Was it completely dead, or just intermittent? Have you tried checking the device pairing settings? Sometimes the simplest things are the culprit.
