GTR AC Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Nissan GTR is experiencing an AC failure, with symptoms including no cooling, inability to switch on, and a warning light. Diagnostics suggest the issue may lie with the refrigerant compressor or the AC control unit. A similar case with a different vehicle pointed to the AC control unit as the problem. It is recommended to have the vehicle checked at a workshop for accurate diagnosis and repair.

I haven't checked the refrigerant level or relays; I don't have the equipment. I was hoping for some insight before misdiagnosing it. Was your issue the compressor itself?

I'm not sure it's the compressor. A mechanic looked at mine, and it was the AC control unit. It was throwing errors, even though the compressor seemed fine. Get yours checked at a workshop; they'll be able to tell you for sure.

I appreciate the advice. I'll take it to a trusted workshop for a proper diagnosis. I suspected the AC control unit might be the culprit. The repair ended up costing 980€ due to the faulty AC control unit.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar AC issue with my 2016 BMW 3 Series. Same symptoms – no cold air, warning light, the whole shebang. Did you check the refrigerant level or any of the AC relays?
