H1 Rear Sun Blind Failure
Summary of the thread
The rear sun blind in a 2012 Hyundai H1 diesel has stopped working, remaining stuck without retracting or extending. A mechanic identified a stored error and suspects a defective motor as the cause. A similar issue was resolved by replacing the motor, suggesting that a workshop visit for motor replacement might be necessary to fix the problem.

Completely dead, no sound at all. Just nothing happens when I press the button. What was the fix for yours?

Sounds like the motor then. Mine was doing the same, totally silent. Unfortunately, I had to get the whole thing replaced at a workshop. Bit of a pain, but it sorted it out.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping it might be a simple fix, but it sounds like I'm heading to the shop. At least I know what to expect now. I'll post again when it's sorted.

Yeah, I had a similar problem with my H1 a while back. Is it making any noise when you try to operate the sunblind, or is it completely dead?
