Hey, thanks for your answer. That's exactly the kind of info I was looking for. It seems that I may also have a faulty control unit. If you can remember, could you tell me how much the whole thing set you back in repair costs? And were there any problems afterwards?

Hey, no problem, you're welcome! So after I went to my mechanic, the mirror heater in the wing mirrors was repaired without working. The control unit was actually broken and had to be replaced. That cost me €475. It may not be a bargain, but since then everything has been running smoothly again without any further problems. Hope that helps you!

Hey, that's really a big help! 475 sounds steep, but if it fixes the problem permanently, it's worth it. I will discuss this with my mechanic and hopefully be back to full functionality soon. Thanks again!

Hi, I had a similar problem with my 2013 Renault Trafic. My heaters didn't work either, but in addition the electric windows didn't work either. The problem was a faulty control unit. It was already a serious fault because the control unit regulates many different functions in the car. A replacement was necessary. I have to say it was a bit time consuming, but after it was fixed, everything is running as normal again. I hope this helps you.
