Thanks for the reply. No, I haven't checked the voltage on the glow plug circuit yet. Could you provide more detail on how you diagnosed the issue with your Renault Scenic?

Well, I'm no expert, haha. Basically, the mechanic told me that glow plugs are essential for preheating, especially in cold weather. If they fail, the heater won't work, and it throws an error. He used a multimeter to check the voltage, found it was dead, and replaced the plug. Honestly, I’d suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Understood. Thanks for sharing your experience; it's very helpful. I'll bring it to a workshop for a proper diagnosis and glow plug replacement. The estimated cost is around 440€, which seems reasonable.

Hey! That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Scenic, though it was the diesel version. My heating system just quit, and it turned out to be a faulty glow plug as well. Did you check the voltage on the glow plug circuit?
